Side story
Only four months left in 2024…!
At the beginning of the year, I had fantasised about doing this, that and the other this year, but I haven’t been able to do any of them.
In this issue, we look back at August, as the month has come to an end.
Gundam plastic models
The children were lounging around at home… I couldn’t bear to look at them, so I bought them Gundam plastic models.
The photo shows the Gundam from Char of the Counterattack.
It has fin funnels and can stand on its own.
I was impressed by the amazing Gundam models of today, but the children, who have no feelings at all about Gundam, were not interested at all!_(┐「ε:)_
Itadori River
This year I went touring on the Itadori River for the first time in about 10 years.
The point of going by motorbike is that you can find a good spot and take a hit-and-away strategy of ‘swim, move by motorbike, swim’.
But it was even more difficult for motorbikes than when we came before, as there were no more parking spaces.
The Itadori River was still very beautiful.
There is another very beautiful river in the Tono region, the Tsukechi River, but it is not easy to find such a good place for swimming.
Mizunami Genji Tanabata Festival
It was really hot this year.
The annual Mizunami Genji Tanabata Festival was also very hot during the day and sparsely populated.
The children didn’t go with me this year, so I wandered around on my own.

We participated in our first overseas exhibition in Hong Kong.
We would like to thank Mr Nakajima of the Chigonoiwa Sake Brewery for his cooperation.
We were able to interact with many people there and meet some of our customers.
