Last weekend, I went skiing for the first time in about 12 years! I was a bit nervous about whether I could still ski properly, but surprisingly, my body remembered how to do it quite well.
Now, let’s move on to this week’s new arrivals. As a bird lover, I can’t help but be excited about our newest item—Swallow Chopstick Rests!
This Week’s Pick: Bird Things Rest – Swallow
A must-have for bird lovers—adorable swallow-shaped chopstick rests.
Available in both gold and silver.
When placing a spoon on it, it looks like the little bird is carrying a heavy load, which almost makes me feel sorry for it—but it’s still irresistibly cute! It’s so charming, you might just want to give it a gentle pat.

Side Story: Skiing After 12 Years!
The location was Jibuzaka Ski Resort, about an hour and a half drive from Yamani. The slopes are relatively gentle, making them ideal for families. However, if you go all the way to the top, there are some challenging slopes as well.
I used to come here as a child with my father, so it was quite special to return with my own children and parents.
For my kids, it was their very first skiing experience. At first, I was worried about whether they would be able to ski properly, but by the evening, they had improved a lot!
Hearing them say, “I want to go again!” made the trip even more rewarding. Looking forward to the next ski adventure!
