Last week, I went camping for the first time this year.
We knew it was going to rain on Sunday… but wow, it turned into one wild adventure!
The wind howled, the rain lashed down—it felt like we were inside a giant car wash. For a moment, I thought the tent might actually collapse.
We decided to go anyway because rescheduling usually means never going. Apparently, the weather decided to match our aggressive spirit. Yikes.

Side Note: That Camping Trip
Back to the camping story…
When we arrived, the site was almost empty. At first, I thought maybe the camping boom had died down—but no, everyone else had the good sense to stay home because of Sunday’s stormy forecast!

We even had time to chill by the ocean… well, at least before bedtime.
Our cozy base camp
No worries though—we were well prepared thanks to the forecast. Actually, I was grateful the bad weather held off until after dinner.
I’ll write more about the trip later, but for now, I just want to say…
We stayed at the lovely Nisaki Campground.
I definitely want to go back when the weather’s nice—it’s a fantastic spot!
