A Canister with a Cute Acacia Lid — and 13 More New Japanese Tableware Items Now in Stock

Information

Thank you for your patience during Golden Week. We at Yamani had a wonderful chance to recharge — and we’re back with this week’s new arrivals.

The featured item this week is the Canister S with Acacia Wood Lid.

This Week’s Highlight: Canister S with Acacia Wood Lid

A beautiful piece of display storage that lifts your mood and adds warmth to your kitchen.

Canister S with Acacia Wood Lid

The lid is crafted from acacia wood — naturally textured, warm in tone, and unmistakably elegant. Fill it with cookies, seasonings, or dried herbs and it becomes a kitchen centrepiece that looks as good as it functions.

The lid seals with a rubber gasket, keeping contents fresh. A piece you’ll reach for every day — and notice every time the light catches the acacia just right.

Also in Stock: Two Handsome Japanese Tableware Series

Alongside the canister, this week brings 13 new items across two series of gift-ready Japanese tableware — each piece finished with distinctive glazework and boxed for gifting.

Suirei-no-kei Series

Suirei-no-kei (翠嶺の景) translates as “scenery of the verdant peaks.” These pieces carry that quiet grandeur in their glaze — two colour stories, Saiun (彩雲, “colourful clouds”) and Oribe (the classic deep-green glaze of Mino ware), each available as a matcha bowl and a tall sushi yunomi. All four come boxed in a decorative gift case.

Kezuriotoshi Series

Kezuriotoshi (削落) is a hand-carving technique in which the clay surface is shaved away to reveal a textured, sculptural finish — strong lines, quiet elegance. Available in three glaze finishes: Oribe (green), Kohiki (white slip), and Sansai (three-colour). The range covers sushi geta (the classic flat serving board), and rice bowls in large and small sizes. All gift-boxed.

The new arrivals are gradually going live across our EC channels. Please check the links above for each item, and feel free to get in touch if you have any questions.
