Last weekend, I decided on a whim to take a day trip to Nara Park!
It’s about a three-hour drive one way from our location in Mizunami, Gifu Prefecture, so it was quite an ambitious day trip. However, it was well worth it to spend time with the adorable deer again after so long.
Unfortunately, the autumn leaves had already fallen, but the deer were as charming as ever. It was a fulfilling and relaxing day!
Speaking of the animals in Nara, this week’s new item isn’t deer-related, but **cat-related**! We are excited to introduce our adorable new Cat Acrylic Cutlery, ready to brighten up your mealtimes.
Featured Item This Week: Cat Acrylic Cutlery
This cutlery features a subtle yet delightful cat shape accent on the handle. It’s a playful touch that instantly makes your table setting more charming.
The series comes in three types (such as spoon, fork, etc.). You can easily collect a set for the whole family or mix and match them for different occasions.
Just placing this cutlery on your table instantly adds a cute and joyful atmosphere. They are perfect for home gatherings, afternoon tea, or for making kids’ meals more fun!
Manufactured in Niigata Prefecture, these items are **Made in Japan**, ensuring high quality and craftsmanship.

A Side Note: Scenes from Nara Park
Now, let me share a few photos and stories from my recent visit to the beloved Nara Park.
The deer in Nara Park truly live life at their own pace, and watching them is incredibly therapeutic.
Though they look relaxed, I imagine these wild deer must face their own challenges, too!
And of course, no visit to Nara is complete without **Shika Senbei** (deer crackers). You have to be quick and careful because the moment you buy them, the deer instantly surround you!
I remember visiting when I was in 6th grade; I only bought one bundle and carefully rationed it out. Now that I’m an adult, I can essentially buy and feed them as much as I want! It was a funny moment realizing that I’ve become an adult in such an unexpected way. (lol)
I also made a new discovery on this trip! Even though I’ve been to Nara Park many times, this was the first time I climbed **Mt. Wakakusa**.
The sunset view from the top was breathtakingly beautiful.
Next time, I hope to visit in the spring when the baby deer are born!
