Last weekend, I took my child snowboarding for the very first time! To be honest, I was so worried about whether they could actually do it that I hesitated to even buy the lift pass at first (laughs).
They were quite frustrated after failing to stand up on the second try, but they managed to pull it together. In the end, we went up on the lift about 10 times! There was a moment when I saw some “unmotivated” movements and thought it was a lost cause, but I’m so glad they got the hang of it eventually.
My child is already heading into junior high school this year, but watching them struggle reminded me of the days when they were just starting to stand and walk. It made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside… they’ve grown up so fast!
