The Wait Is Over! Say Hello to the “Some-Neko” 10cm Plate
This adorable new plate joins the popular “Some-Neko” series—a collection loved not just across Japan, but around the world. For cat lovers and fans of Japanese ceramics alike, this new form is bound to become a favorite!
What makes this design extra special is the use of layered gosu (a traditional indigo pigment). By carefully applying multiple layers, each plate displays beautiful gradations of blue—reminiscent of traditional Japanese ink paintings.
The playful, sketch-like drawing style also gives off a “Chōjū-giga” (animal caricature scroll) vibe—so charming!
And don’t forget to check the back of the plate—there’s a tiny dried fish (niboshi) design waiting for you!
