Sustainable Ceramics in Taipei: POP UP ASIA 2025 Report

Side story

From November 13th to 16th, 2025, YAMANI had the pleasure of participating in “POP UP ASIA” in Taipei. It was an incredible journey filled with creativity and meaningful connections. Here is our report on the event!

What is POP UP ASIA?

POP UP ASIA is one of the largest creative festivals in Asia, held annually in Taiwan. In 2025, it took place at the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park in Taipei. This international exhibition brings together brands with unique designs and craftsmanship, serving as a hub to broadcast Asian creative culture to the world.

We were invited by the team at Super Delivery to join their booth, as our products were a great match for the event’s “Ethical” theme. A huge thank you to them for this wonderful opportunity!

Since the theme of this year’s event was “Ethical,” YAMANI chose to showcase our eco-friendly collections made from recycled materials:

  • TRIP WARE
  • asumi

These series utilize recycled clay, which contains 20% pulverized ceramic waste from discarded tableware. It’s our way of bringing sustainability and circular economy to the dining table.

We also launched our brand-new ECO COLLECTION Catalog specifically for this event!

Throughout the exhibition, many Taiwanese visitors stopped by to touch and feel our ceramics. It was incredibly rewarding to speak with local customers and hear their feedback. We are truly grateful to everyone who visited our booth!

Travel Diary: The Midnight Flight Adventure

Traveling to Taiwan was made easier thanks to a Peach Aviation sale—budgeting is important, right? However, “budget travel” often comes with a twist. The flights were scheduled in the middle of the night.

Arriving at Taoyuan Airport around 2:00 AM, I planned to stay at the airport’s capsule hotel…

…only to find it was fully booked! I ended up waiting for the morning at the food court instead. Such is the life of a traveler! _(┐「ε:)_

The venue, Songshan Cultural and Creative Park, is a renovated former tobacco factory. The historical architecture was stunning—no matter where I looked, everything felt incredibly stylish and creative.

Final Thoughts

We had a wonderful time thanks to the incredible support from the Super Delivery staff. It was a joy to connect with so many creative minds and potential partners during the event. Thank you all so much!

If another opportunity arises, I would absolutely love to return to Taiwan. Until then, stay creative!
